Based on these figures, the Ministry of Health and UNFPA developed an effective strategy to reduce the deaths related to fistula, which resulted in the opening of the new centre at the Nyala hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Lamia Khaled, representative of the Sudanese Federal Ministry of Health, expressed her hope that the centre will reduce maternal mortality and the suffering faced by the patients.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Housing fund<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On Sunday too, Ghulam El Din Osman, Secretary General of the National Housing and Reconstruction Fund announced that during the second phase of the housing fund activities for South Darfur, 2000 housing units will be built.
