Ethiopian opposition forces are reportedly fighting alongside Sudanese army troops in South Kordofan.<\/p>\n

Multiple sources revealed that Ethiopian rebels participated in attacks against the Sudan People\u2019s Liberation Movement-North forces in the Nuba Mountains, South Kordofan. The Ethiopians were trained and organised at the Sudanese military camps in the states of El Gedaref and El Gezira.<\/p>\n

The eyewitnesses who spoke to the Sudanese Altaghyee<\/em>r (an independent electronic newspaper) said that about 4,000 Muslim Oromo fighters from Ethiopia were involved in military operations in the eastern part of the Nuba Mountains, since the government had launched its \u201cdecisive dry season summer offensive\u201d in November last year.<\/p>\n

Medical staff in Kosti hospital reported that Ethiopian fighters have been treated in the city\u2019s hospitals after they were wounded in South Kordofan clashes.<\/p>\n
