The armed movements, however, reiterate their stance on a \u201ccomprehensive solution for the various crises in Sudan\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Amin Hassan Omar, the head of the Higher Committee for Follow up of the Implementation of the Doha Document for Peace in Darfur (DDPD), told the press that \u201cthe coming period will witness moves to complete the peace process through a Liaison Committee, chaired by&nbsp;First Vice-President, Lt. Gen. Bakri Hassan Salih\u201d. The mechanisms that will cooperate in \u201cthe communication with the rebels\u201d are the Darfur Regional Authority, the Higher Committee for Follow up of the Implementation of the Doha Document for Peace in Darfur, and the Um Jaras Forum.<\/p>\n<p>However, the Darfur factions of the Sudan Revolutionary Front (SRF) have reiterated their categorical rejection of partial solutions for the crises in Sudan, including the DDPD.<\/p>\n<p>Abdallah Mursal, the spokesman for the Sudan Liberation Movement, led by Minni Minawi, told Radio Dabanga that \u201cin case the Sudanese government has the political will and ability to solve the problems of Sudan, it should agree on a comprehensive solution, and not a partial one. If the regimes of President Al Bashir and President&nbsp;Deby do not accept this starting point, the SRF will continue its offensive to topple the regime in Khartoum\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>For his part, Nimir Abdel Rahman, the spokesman for the Sudan Liberation Movement, led by Abdel Wahid El Nur, confirmed to Radio Dabanga that they reject the government&#8217;s approach of sending delegations from Darfur to meet with the armed rebel movements, \u201cas if the issue was a social or communication problem\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Abdel Rahman stressed that \u201cif the National Congress Party were serious about real peace in Sudan, it should pass the power to the people.
