A man has been killed, and two other people reported injured following three consecutive days of air raids on the Nuba Mountains in South Kordofan.<\/p>\n

The spokesman for the region, Jatigo Amoga Delman, told Radio Dabanga that an Antonov of the Sudanese Air Force dropped six bombs in Abri, near Dalami city on Saturday, and another six on Heiban city on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Then, at 2am on Monday, a Sukhoi dropped nine bombs on the village of El Dar and three on Damadogo in Buram locality. These killed Timo Touse, and burned and injured 27-year-old Salem Kuku, and 13-year-old girl Zainab Tromba.<\/p>\n

A number of cattle were also killed in the raids, and vast tracts of farmland and pasture areas were burned.<\/p>\n

The spokesman suggested that the aerial bombardments \u201cunderline the lack of seriousness of the Khartoum regime to bring peace to the region\u201d.<\/p>\n

East Jebel Marra<\/strong><\/p>\n

Aircraft of the Sudanese Air Force also dropped eight bombs on the areas of Kara and Khor in Darfur\u2019s East Jebel Marra on Monday morning.<\/p>\n

No casualties were reported, however listeners told Radio Dabanga that the bombardment caused fires that burned until Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n

The residents \u2013 who also complained of the spread of colds and inadequate heath care in the locality \u2013 called on the UN Security Council and the international community to put pressure on the Khartoum government to stop the indiscriminate bombing of citizens, their property, and their water sources.<\/p>\n
