A camp sheikh described to Radio Dabanga the conditions of the newly displaced as \u201cextremely dire, as they were carrying nothing other than the torn clothes on their bodies\u201d.&nbsp; \u201cThe Rapid Support militias robbed them of all their money, property, livestock, and crops.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Sudanese Humanitarian Affairs Commission (HAC) on Monday conducted an inventory, and registered the new arrivals. \u201cHAC promised to help them but has done nothing so far.\u201d The sheikh called on humanitarian organisations to \u201caccelerate rescuing these newly displaced people, who are living in the open without shelter, food, or medicines\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>El Salam camp<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Newly displaced people also continued to flock into El Salam camp, Bielel locality. On Wednesday&nbsp;35 households consisting of 171 people from Sani Deleiba&nbsp;arrived at the camp. Sheikh Mahjoub Adam Tabaldiya described their situation as \u201cvery bad\u201d. \u201cThey are urgently in need of help, and the registration is taking too much time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tabaldiya reiterated his call to \u201call the humanitarian organisations to speed up the provision of aid to those newly displaced people\u201d.
