They asked the camp leaders about the progress of the implementation of the Doha Document for Peace in Darfur on the ground, and about the security situation.<\/p>\n<p>The sheikh said that the camp leaders emphasised to the delegation that \u201cthere exists no Doha Document on the ground. The situation now has returned to the high level of insecurity we witnessed during the start of the war, in the years 2003-2004.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe pointed to the recent deterioration of the security in South and North Darfur, and the requirements for safety and stability. A just and comprehensive peace needs to be achieved, which can only be done by unifying the negotiating platforms of Darfur, South Kordofan, and the Blue Nile. We also told them that we are in urgent need of job opportunities for young Darfuris.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The sheikh concluded by saying that the AU representatives told them they had come to collect information.
