A party leader claimed that the USA intends to request the head of Unamid, Mohamed Ibn Shambas, to take over the Darfur file.<\/p>\n<p>One of the SCP leaders,&nbsp;Yusif Hussein, called the Darfur crisis \u201cthe largest humanitarian disaster in the twentieth century\u201d in a press conference on Thursday. \u201cIts continuation will lead to self-determination for the region.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The party leader claimed that the USA intends to request the head of Unamid, Mohamed Ibn Shambas, to take over the Darfur file, now that the situation is rapidly deteriorating.<\/p>\n<p>He accused the Sudanese government of attempting to eliminate the Darfuri armed movements using militias.
