Members of the Sudanese parliament have stressed the need to control the movements of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), who are attacking rural areas in South and North Darfur under the command of the Sudanese Intelligence and Security Service.<\/p>\n

\u201cA human being in Darfur does not have any value anymore since the RSF Janjaweed started to create chaos and bewilderment in Darfur,\u201d MP Ahmed Abdallah El Nimeir stated in a parliamentary session on Tuesday. \u201cThere are elderly who have died of frustration and helplessness.\u201d<\/p>\n

El Nimeir accused certain entities, he did not identify, \u201cwho have been and are arming groups in Darfur, granting them Land Cruisers and Dushka machineguns\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe RSF attacks have to be stopped. These militias, and anyone who has been and still is committing these absurd crimes should be held accountable without any distinction,\u201d the MP stressed.<\/p>\n

Kaki<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cDarfur is torn between rebels and outlaws. It is not clear anymore who is who. The camel owner wears kaki, the Central Reserve Forces wear kaki, the police, the security forces wear kaki, and people in the streets wear kaki.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThey may be called RSF, Border Guards, Popular Defence Forces, or Janjaweed<\/em>, it does not make a difference. Anyone guilty of those crimes should be brought to justice.\u201d<\/p>\n

MP Hayat Ahmad El Mahi proposed the transfer of the parliamentary sessions for the period of one month to the Darfur states.<\/p>\n
