The Sudanese refugees of Bembere camp in the Central African Republic (CAR) are living in severe horror and panic owing to fighting near the camp.<\/p>\n

Abdel Rahman Ismail, the head of the camp, revealed to Radio Dabanga that four Muslims were killed 10 km from the camp on Thursday, and the siege prevents residents from leaving the camp. It sparked panic amongst the refugees.<\/p>\n

Ismail appealed to the UN to provide protection to the refugees, or resettle them in safe countries.  <\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the union of organisations in Sudan\u2019s Khartoum State have acknowledged that the number of displaced who fled the massacres in CAR has amounted to more than 600. Most live in camps on the Chadian border and the outskirts of West Darfur state.<\/p>\n

Hussam El Din Mohamed Osman, a member of the union, has pointed out that there is a campaign to prepare the camps with a healthy environment, and provide assistance to the displaced and refugees.<\/p>\n
