Abbala tribesmen detained four people in Birkat Seira in North Darfur on Monday.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe four men from Birkat Seira in Saraf Umra locality were detained by the Abbala on charges of harbouring members of the Beni Hussein tribe\u201d, a relative of one of the detainees told Radio Dabanga.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn Monday morning, Abbala militiamen, led by one named Mohamed Hagar, raided the houses of Mubarak Idris Abdallah, and Izzeldin Idris, both basic school teachers, and the houses of engine technician Mohamed Abdallah Yagoub, known as Mareen, and his son Yasin Mohamed Abdallah. The Abbala tribesmen seized the four men against the backdrop of an incident between Abbala and Beni Hussein tribesmen\u201d, the relative explained.<\/p>\n

He said that the Abbala gunmen refused to release the four men, though the people in Birkat Seira assured them that the detainees have no relation whatsoever with the incident, and did not harbour any Beni Hussein tribesmen.<\/p>\n
