A police patrol hunted down the culprits and exchanged fire with them, killing one of the gunmen on the spot and wounding another inside Nyala.<\/p>\n<p>Nyala police have received dozens of complaints of militiamen stealing vehicles and goods on the Nyala airport road and the road to El Fasher, blocked by elements of the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces in the last week of May. Five vehicles, eight rickshaws, and more than 500 mobile phones had been looted by then, in addition to cash and other valuables.
