Two school students were shot at the market of Deleig in Central Darfur on Sunday. On the same day, militiamen raided the Jukhana market, near Gireida town in South Darfur, killing a displaced man and injuring others.<\/p>\n
\u201cAt about 8pm on Sunday, four government-backed gunmen opened fire on Mutasim Abdel Kabir who was riding a motorcycle at the Deleig market\u201d, a market vendor told Radio Dabanga from Deleig. \u201cAbdel Kabir, a secondary school student, died instantly. Maher Ibrahim (11), a basic school pupil, was critically injured in his chest. He was transferred to the Deleig hospital, where he died on Monday.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThe gunmen then took the motorcycle and fled.\u201d<\/p>\n
Gireida<\/strong><\/p>\n At the Jukhana market, south of Gireida town, a displaced man was killed, his wife and daughter, and another man were wounded in an attack by militiamen on Sunday.<\/p>\n A listener told Radio Dabanga from Gireida that a group of Janjaweed<\/em> on camels and horses raided the market, while shooting in the air. \u201cAdam Eisa was killed immediately. His wife and daughter were injured. Abdallah Abdel Rahman Abdallah sustained critical injuries.
