Gunmen ambushed six commercial vehicles in Kutum locality, North Darfur, on Friday. The day before, gunmen robbed the passengers of a commercial vehicle in the area north of Kutum town, and abducted two of them.<\/p>\n
A convoy of six commercial vehicles en route from Disa to Kutum town was intercepted by armed robbers on Friday morning. The gunmen robbed the passengers of all their belongings, before they beat and lashed them. Some of the passengers sustained injuries, one of the passengers told Radio Dabanga.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe gunmen then selected two vehicles, in which they loaded the stolen goods. They cut the tyres of the other four vehicles, and left with the two loaded vehicles.\u201d<\/p>\n
On Thursday, militiamen abducted two passengers in the area of \u200b\u200bOmu El Madrasa, north of Kutum town. They stopped a lorry on its way from Kutum to Ferlonag, at gunpoint, and robbed the passengers of their money, mobile phones, and luggage. When they left, they two passengers with them, the driver of the vehicle reported to Radio Dabanga.<\/p>\n
