Therefore they are not entitled anymore to food rations. \u201cThe IOM promised to solve the problem four months ago, but nothing happened so far.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Abu Suruj <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The displaced in the Abu Suruj camp, located north of El Geneina, the capital of West Darfur, are living in an \u201cunprecedented bad situation,\u201d the spokeswoman for the women of the camp told Radio Dabanga.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe people in the camp are barely able to survive. They cannot afford to buy enough food, there are no health services, and they have given up the hope to find a job since ages.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The spokeswoman said that food prices are soaring. \u201cWe pay SDG5 ($0.90) for a pound of sugar.
