The National Consensus Forces (NCF, a coalition of opposition parties) congratulated the Sudanese people on Eid El Fitr, wishing them a peaceful and democratic Sudan in the near future.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Radio Dabanga, NCF chairman Faroug Abu Eisa expressed the hope that \u201cSudan soon may get rid of the National Congress Party (NCP) gang\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe country needs to be saved from this gang that continues to torture the Sudanese, in particular in Darfur, South Kordofan, and the Blue Nile State. The NCP has torn our homeland apart with their wars.\u201d<\/p>\n

He affirmed NCF\u2019s determination to topple the Khartoum regime, and called on all political forces, parties, and the armed movements allied in the Sudan Revolutionary Front (SRF) to unite \u201cfor the sake of Sudan\u201d.  \u201cAny dialogue with this regime is a waste of time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Yasir Arman, Secretary-General of the Sudan People\u2019s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N), and SRF Secretary for Foreign Relations sent a congratulatory message to the Sudanese people on the occasion of Eid El Fitr. Arman told Radio Dabanga that hundreds of thousands of Sudanese displaced are unable to \u201ctaste the joy of the Eid\u201d, as they \u201ctrying to survive in camps, the countryside, and many towns\u201d.  <\/p>\n

He called upon all Sudanese to \u201cline up to topple this criminal regime of liars\u201d.<\/p>\n

In Khartoum, Sheikh Abdel Mahmoud Abulamin, the Secretary-General of the Association of the Ansar [followers of Imam El Sadig El Mahdi, who is also the president of the National Umma Party] congratulated the Sudanese people, and the Islamic nation on the occasion of Eid El Fitr. <\/p>\n

Abulamin extended his wishes for a better future in particular \u201call those who live in exile, in camp shelters, the victims of war and conflicts in Darfur, South Kordofan and the Blue Nile\u201d. He asked the \u201cAlmighty God to save the people’s blood, and bring about stability in the country\u201d.  <\/p>\n

\u201cWe call on all Sudanese to accept each other, in order to achieve security and manage diversity in a way that achieves equality, justice, democracy, and preserves the dignity of each human being.\u201d <\/p>\n

The Sultan of Dar Masalit, and the chairman of the Darfur Regional Authority Council, Saad Abdel Rahman, congratulated the Sudanese and the people of Darfur on the occasion of Eid El Fitr. He wished that \u201cDarfur will return as it used to be, peaceful and stable, with its people enjoying security and peace of mind.\u201d<\/p>\n

He appealed via Radio Dabanga to all Darfuris to forget all their grievances \u201cfor the sake of justice, security and stability\u201d.<\/p>\n
