Six cows drowned.<\/p>\n<p>About 6,100 households were affected. 3,037 houses collapsed, and 2,753 houses were partially damaged. 2,106 toilets were destroyed.<\/p>\n<p>The River Nile State in northern Sudan was hit the hardest, the Ministry said, with 1,972 households affected. In North Kordofan, 1,170 families were affected.<\/p>\n<p>The Ministry of Interior Affairs stated that the situation does not require declaring Sudan a \u201cdisaster area\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tents<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In Khartoum State, in particular Omdurman, the sister-city of Khartoum, has been affected.
