On the same day, a farmer was wounded in an attack by militant Abbala tribesmen east of El Sareif town.<\/p>\n<p>The rescue team was formed after gunmen had shot dead seven herders on Sunday evening, and stole 300 camels in the area of Tigi, located between the localities of El Sareif Beni Hussein and Kabkabiya in North Darfur. The rescue team tracked the thieves until they arrived in Goz El Naeem, in the northern part of El Sareif locality, a herder told Radio Dabanga. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe rescue team found the thieves in Goz El Naeem. In the ensuing gunfire, a member of the rescue team was killed, and five others were injured. The thieves fled, leaving the stolen camels behind. A committee will return the stolen camels to the owners.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On Monday evening, a group of militant Abbala in two vehicles and on 40 motorcycles attacked farmers of the Beni Hussein tribe in the area east of El Sareif\u201d, an eyewitness reported to Radio Dabanga. \u201cOne of the farmers was injured.
