An unknown disease resulted in the death of four people on Monday, and infected three on Tuesday in the area of Foro Baranga, West Darfur.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe symptoms are vomiting, fever, and bleeding from the mouth\u201d, a listener told Radio Dabanga from Foro Baranga. \u201cAfter the appearance of the symptoms, the patients die about three hours later.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said that four people died on Monday. \u201cThree others were affected. They are now in a hospital in Foro Baranga in serious condition. The hospital, however, is short of medical staff, and medicines.\u201d <\/p>\n

In Central Darfur, 113 displaced died in Mukjar camp between 1 July and 27 August, owing to various \u201crainy season diseases such as fever and malaria\u201d, the coordinator of the Central Darfur camps for the displaced reported to Radio Dabanga.<\/p>\n

He appealed via Radio Dabanga to the UN, international organisations, and the Central Darfur State authorities, to provide vaccines and medical treatment.<\/p>\n
