Thabo Mbeki, the chief of the AU High Level Implementation Panel (AUHIP), attended the signing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201c<span lang=\"en-GB\">Comprehensive political settlement is the ideal option to resolve the Sudanese problem,\u201d&nbsp;the signed text says.
