Gunmen killed a citizen in Abu Karinka, East Darfur, on Monday. A man was injured in an attack by armed robbers in El Fasher, capital of North Darfur, on Tuesday. On the same day, three people were shot dead inside their homes in East Jebel Marra.<\/p>\n
\u201cTaha El Sheikh Taha was murdered by robbers, 9 km north of Abu Karinka town, on Monday evening. He was on his way to his home village, when they shot him dead. They then stole his donkey cart, money, and mobile phone, and fled\u201d, Hamdan Abdallah Teirab, member of the East Darfur State parliament for Abu Karinka constituency, reported to Radio Dabanga.<\/p>\n
The MP said that the security situation is deteriorating rapidly in the region, and called on the Ministry of Interior Affairs and the security service to intervene.<\/p>\n
Restaurant<\/strong><\/p>\n Medical assistant Yousef Eisa was injured by gunmen in Shamsi Restaurant, in the Hajar Gado neighbourhood in El Fasher town on Tuesday.<\/p>\n An eyewitness told Radio Dabanga that the incident occurred when Eisa and a colleague were enjoying a meal.<\/p>\n \u201cGunmen stopped their vehicle in front of the restaurant, and entered, seemingly to order a meal too. They went straight to Eisa and his colleague, and demanded their mobile phones. The colleague gave them his telephone, but Eisa refused. The assailants then began to beat him severely, wounding his head, and breaking his hand. He had to be transferred to a hospital for treatment.\u201d<\/p>\n East Jebel Marra<\/strong><\/p>\n On Tuesday, gunmen entered the homes of Adam Saleh Omar (70), Ibrahim Yagoub (45), and Aisha Omar Eisa (30) in the area of Kakuru in East Jebel Marra, and shot them dead.<\/p>\n File photo<\/em><\/p>\n
