The Sudan Revolutionary Front has called for the unification of all negotiation platforms into a single platform, in order to achieve a comprehensive peace for Sudan. \u201cNot one partial agreement has addressed the problems in Sudan so far.\u201d<\/p>\n

Malik Agar, the president of the alliance of rebel groups (SRF), said the Naivasha Peace Agreement did not address the crises in Sudan, but instead led to the secession of southern Sudan. He said that the Doha Peace Agreement (2011) neither addressed all conflicts in the Darfur region. \u201cNot any partial agreement has addressed the problems in Sudan,\u201d he told Radio Dabanga in an interview in Paris. It was broadcasted in ‘Milafat Sudaniya’, or ‘Sudanese Files’, a new daily debating programme on Dabanga Sudan TV (ArabSat BADR-4) on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Taking the failure of these agreements into account, Agar stressed that the opposition parties need a programme, different than the current one. \u201cAccounting for security, peace, the stoppage of war, and economic problems. Also, developing a democratic system that respects diversity and removes all social inequalities.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Monday, the SRF announced it welcomed mediation efforts by the African Union to merge the issues of Sudan into one platform, under the auspices of the AU High-Level Implementation Panel (AUHIP).<\/p>\n

‘State must be restructured’<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N) chairman also told Radio Dabanga that the rebel movement still adheres to the project of building a new Sudan. Agar explained that the state must be restructured, to give a voice back to all diversities in Sudan.<\/p>\n

Agar stressed that not only do the Sudan’s north and south need a new Sudan, but also all of Africa need it, because it is \u201cbased on justice, democracy and freedom\u201d. To solve the problems, everyone needs to work together without isolating anyone, he said. \u201cSudan’s ill administration of diversity is what brought us to where we are now… Without stopping the war, there is no meaning for dialogue in itself.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
