Militiamen in military uniforms raped a displaced woman of the Sibak El Khel camp in North Darfur on Saturday. On the same day, two women were gang-raped on their farmlands in East Jebel Marra.<\/p>\n

The coordinator of Sibak El Khel camp, northwest of Kabkabiya, reported to Radio Dabanga that the woman was attacked in Wadi Weloul, north of the camp, when she went there to fetch her donkey. \u201cTwo masked gunmen in military uniforms assaulted her. They beat her with rifle butts, and then raped her alternately for two hours.\u201d<\/p>\n

In East Jebel Marra, five militiamen gang raped two women on their farmlands on Saturday morning.<\/p>\n

A relative of one of the victims told Radio Dabanga that \u201cfive Janjaweed<\/em> on camels’ backs, wearing military uniforms, stormed the farmlands in the area south of Kaja at about 11 am on Saturday. They fired shots into the air, before they seized two women (21 and 18 years old), and gang raped them.\u201d<\/p>\n
