In Nierteti locality, Central Darfur, a child was killed in crossfire this morning. On Monday, two displaced women were shot by militiamen in separate incidents.<\/p>\n

During a clash between militiamen and army forces in the area east of Nierteti town this morning (Tuesday), a stray bullet hit Mulazem Abakar Ishag (4), and killed him instantly, a neighbour of the victim told Radio Dabanga.<\/p>\n

On Monday evening, Sayida Ahmed Moussa (68) was seriously injured when gunmen fired at her at the farmlands near Nama in Nierteti locality, according to a listener.<\/p>\n

The same source reported that militiamen shot a 24-year-old displaced woman near Nama. \u201cThey attempted to rape her, but she managed to escape. They then shot at her, causing serious injuries. She had to be transferred to the hospital of Nama.\u201d<\/p>\n
