Gen. Ibrahim El Maz, assistant to the head of the Justice and Equality Movement (JEM), to the Police Hospital in the Sudanese capital.<\/p>\n<p>The wife of El Maz, Rasha Hamad, told Dabanga that last week his health deteriorated. &ldquo;He suffered from heart and lung infections, and his body began to swell. On Saturday, he was taken to the hospital.
