On Saturday, a number of IS supporters were arrested.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Maaliya lawyer Jamaa Mordos was detained at his home in Omdurman, the sister city of Khartoum, on Friday evening. After questioning him during several hours, he was released again, a human rights activist informed Radio Dabanga.<\/p>\n<p>He said that the security officers ordered Mordos to return to the security office on Sunday for further investigations into his relation with the Arab Human Rights Commission, expected to visit Khartoum between 3 and 9 August.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, the Sudanese authorities rearrested one of the most prominent figures of the Jihadi Salafist movement in the country, Sheikh Musaid El Sodeira, together with a number of his disciples. Sheikh Omar Abdelkhalig, head of the Holy Book and the Sunna Association, was arrested too.<\/p>\n<p>Mohamed Ali El Jazouli, leader of Tayar El Umma El Wahida (One Islamic Nation), was arrested on 30 June, a few days after he had been released from a prison sentence of eight months.
