One villager was killed and four others were seriously wounded. The police suspect the four wounded of murdering the herder, and arrested them.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The families of the wounded demand that the police immediately transfer them to El Geneina Hospital for treatment, &ldquo;as they are in dire need of medical treatment and intensive care&rdquo;, a relative of one of the injured told Radio Dabanga.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that a large group of militant herders stormed the villages of Molei and Angounja on Thursday morning in a revenge attack after one of the herders was found killed in the neighbourhood.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;They opened fire on the people. Mohamed Zakaria Anjeila was killed. Jamal Bushara, Hafez Yahya, Zakaria Mohamed, and Yousef Ramadan sustained bullet wounds.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The attackers then severely beat about 60 villagers, and robbed them of about SDG20,000 ($3,260).
