{"id":181320,"date":"2016-01-03T14:46:00","date_gmt":"2016-01-03T14:46:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dabangasudan.preview.websight.nl\/water-scarce-at-south-darfur-s-otash-camp\/"},"modified":"2016-01-03T14:46:00","modified_gmt":"2016-01-03T14:46:00","slug":"water-scarce-at-south-darfur-s-otash-camp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dabangasudan.org\/en\/all-news\/article\/water-scarce-at-south-darfur-s-otash-camp","title":{"rendered":"Water scarce at South Darfur\u2019s Otash camp"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The residents of the Otash camp for the displaced near Nyala, capital of South Darfur, have renewed their complaints about the shortage of drinking water.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One of the Otash camp sheikhs told Radio Dabanga that the drinking water crisis started nearly one month ago after both the governmental Water and Sanitation Department (WES) and the organisation which used to provide fuel for the operation of the pump engines stopped their work at the camp &ldquo;without providing a reason&rdquo;.<\/p>\n<p>The sheikh appealed to the local and state authorities to speed up the provision of clean drinking water to the displaced.
