{"id":181072,"date":"2016-02-10T15:33:00","date_gmt":"2016-02-10T15:33:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dabangasudan.preview.websight.nl\/sudanese-in-libya-subject-to-attacks-forced-labour\/"},"modified":"2016-02-10T15:33:00","modified_gmt":"2016-02-10T15:33:00","slug":"sudanese-in-libya-subject-to-attacks-forced-labour","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dabangasudan.org\/en\/all-news\/article\/sudanese-in-libya-subject-to-attacks-forced-labour","title":{"rendered":"Sudanese in Libya \u2018subject to attacks, forced labour\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Sudanese residing in Libya are &ldquo;suffering severely&rdquo; from the deteriorating security situation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We are constantly subjected to indiscriminate killings, threats, detentions, kidnappings, robberies, and forced labour,&rdquo; a Sudanese national living in Tripoli told Radio Dabanga.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Robberies and hijacks are the order of the day in any Libyan city,&rdquo; he said.<\/p>\n<p>He reported that earlier this week, a Sudanese man was shot dead after he escaped from detention by a Libyan militia. &ldquo;We do not dare bury his body because of the rampant insecurity.<\/p>\n<p>Libyan traders are forcing the Sudanese to work without pay, he added.
