Two children were killed in an air raid on Suni village in South Darfur's East Jebel Marra today. Nine more barrel bombs dropped were by an Antonov of the Sudanese Air Force on two locations in Kabkabiya locality on Saturday morning, however no casualties have been reported.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Two children were killed in an aerial bombardment on Suni, west of Deribat today.<\/p>\n

“An Antonov began to bomb the area of Suni this morning,” a relative of the victims told Radio Dabanga. “Seven barrel bombs fell on the orchards near the village. The one that fell on the village, killed Awatif Adam Mousa (12) and Gamareldin Yahya Saleh (8),” he said.<\/p>\n

Sortony<\/strong><\/p>\n

The coordinator of the North Darfur Kabkabiya camps for the displaced reported to Radio Dabanga that on Saturday morning, six barrel bombs fell in the area of Bouli, three kilometres from Sortony, where more than 62,000 displaced from Jebel Marra have sought protection.<\/p>\n

Three other bombs were dropped on the area of Terejni, which led to the killing of three donkeys and a number of other livestock.<\/p>\n

The coordinator said that the bombardments that occurred at 11 am created great panic among the displaced in the Sortony camp.<\/p>\n
