No casualties were reported.<\/p>\n<p>He added that El Tahir Khamis (7) and his teacher, Ahmed Azrag, sustained injuries when the area of Korongo was shelled from Kadugli on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, Brig. Ahmed Khalifa El Shami, the spokesman for the Sudan Armed Forces (SAF), announced that army troops &ldquo;liberated the strategic areas of Mardis, El Labo, Kuton, Agab, Karkaia, and Biera after defeating the outlaws in a number of South Kordofan axes&rdquo; last week.<\/p>\n<p>The rebel spokesman reported in a brief statement today that fighting is ongoing in the area of Agab and Karkaia, in Reif Asharqi locality, northeast of Kadugli.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Blue Nile<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>An Antonov of the Sudanese Air Force targeted a number of rebel-held areas, mainly in Kurmuk locality on Monday morning, Lodi, reported in a statement later that day.<\/p>\n<p>Around 10 am, the Antonov dropped five barrel bombs on the area of Shali El Fil and seven bombs on Banamayu. Barfa Hill was hit by two bombs, and Babaras by four, the statement reads.
