{"id":180440,"date":"2016-05-19T12:06:00","date_gmt":"2016-05-19T12:06:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dabangasudan.preview.websight.nl\/sudanese-doctors-hold-vigils-for-arbitrarily-dismissed-colleagues\/"},"modified":"2016-05-19T12:06:00","modified_gmt":"2016-05-19T12:06:00","slug":"sudanese-doctors-hold-vigils-for-arbitrarily-dismissed-colleagues","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dabangasudan.org\/en\/all-news\/article\/sudanese-doctors-hold-vigils-for-arbitrarily-dismissed-colleagues","title":{"rendered":"Sudanese doctors hold vigils for \u2018arbitrarily dismissed\u2019 colleagues"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Vigils were held by medical doctors in n front of the Federal Ministry of Health in the Sudanese capital of Khartoum, as well as at Hasahissa and Sinnar hospitals on Wednesday, in solidarity with 56 doctors who have been arbitrarily dismissed from Kosti hospital in White Nile state.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The dismissals come against the backdrop of a recent strike, which was carried out by hospital doctors against the deterioration of the working environment and attacks on doctors.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview with Radio Dabanga broadcast today, Doctor Mamoun Hassan Karrar, the Chairman of Sudan Doctors Committee said that Kosti Hospital administration has &ldquo;arbitrarily dismissed doctors belonging to the Federal Ministry of Health.
