{"id":179891,"date":"2016-08-24T12:15:00","date_gmt":"2016-08-24T12:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dabangasudan.preview.websight.nl\/six-villagers-held-for-ransom-by-north-darfur-herders\/"},"modified":"2016-08-24T12:15:00","modified_gmt":"2016-08-24T12:15:00","slug":"six-villagers-held-for-ransom-by-north-darfur-herders","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dabangasudan.org\/en\/all-news\/article\/six-villagers-held-for-ransom-by-north-darfur-herders","title":{"rendered":"Six villagers held for ransom by North Darfur herders"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>A paramilitary group kidnapped six villagers from Adede in Saraf Umra locality in North Darfur and demanded a ransom of SDG38,000 ($6,260) in compensation for breaking the leg of a camel.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday Sheikh Abdelrazeg Yousif Suleiman, the Coordinator of Saraf Umra camps told Radio Dabanga that the group entered camels onto a farm owned by Zakariya Ismail Ahmed of camp Dankoj at 6 pm on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that a camel suffered a broken leg while being removed from the farm.
