{"id":179531,"date":"2016-10-20T16:48:00","date_gmt":"2016-10-20T16:48:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dabangasudan.preview.websight.nl\/corruption-allegations-emerge-from-sudanese-audits\/"},"modified":"2016-10-20T16:48:00","modified_gmt":"2016-10-20T16:48:00","slug":"corruption-allegations-emerge-from-sudanese-audits","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dabangasudan.org\/en\/all-news\/article\/corruption-allegations-emerge-from-sudanese-audits","title":{"rendered":"Corruption allegations emerge from Sudanese audits"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Auditor General of Sudan has confirmed accusations against the Deputy President of the National Congress Party in Khartoum state and Sudan&rsquo;s former Director of Television, of &ldquo;corruption and financial irregularities&rdquo;.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Auditor General Rashid Ahmed asserts that while he was Director of Television, Mohammed Hatem &ldquo;squandered public money and misused resources by signing a contract with a private advertising company without following the proper procedures&rdquo;.<\/p>\n<p>Ahmed says that Hatem has left the national TV network with debts of SDG27 million ($4,2 million).
