She was detained after having been summoned to appear at one of the security offices in the capital for four consecutive days.<\/p>\n<p>Medics in 75 state hospitals and clinics across the country are striking three ways a week. They demand protection while working, a pay rise, and better working conditions.<\/p>\n<p>According to the SDCC, 12 doctors are now held incommunicado in NISS offices in Khartoum. 13 doctors are summoned to appear in the morning at a security office on a daily basis. After questioning, they are allowed to leave the office again in the evening.<\/p>\n<p>The Doctors&rsquo; Committee confirmed that the strike is &ldquo;going as scheduled&rdquo;.
