{"id":179275,"date":"2016-11-28T14:59:00","date_gmt":"2016-11-28T14:59:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dabangasudan.preview.websight.nl\/more-teachers-detained-in-sudan-capital\/"},"modified":"2016-11-28T14:59:00","modified_gmt":"2016-11-28T14:59:00","slug":"more-teachers-detained-in-sudan-capital","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dabangasudan.org\/en\/all-news\/article\/more-teachers-detained-in-sudan-capital","title":{"rendered":"More teachers detained in Sudan capital"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Sudan&rsquo;s National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS) in Khartoum detained three teachers last week. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Federal Teachers Committee (FTC) reported in a statement on Sunday that the NISS detained headmaster Munir Mohamed, and teachers El Shazli Mohamed Adam and Abdel Majid Bashir in Ombadda locality last week.<\/p>\n<p>The Committee accused the security apparatus of conducting &ldquo;a prosecution campaign&rdquo; against teachers in Khartoum over their demands for an improved working environment.<\/p>\n<p>Last Monday, the NISS detained Ammar Yousef, member of the FTC executive office of the Federal Teachers Committee, in his house in El Kalakla in southern Khartoum.<\/p>\n<p>Committee members Tareg Maman, teacher in Khartoum locality, Hamdan Bolad, teacher in Jebel Awliya locality, and a certain Ismail teaching in Karari locality were summoned to appear at one of the security offices in the Sudanese capital.<\/p>\n<p>The teachers reported in their statement that Yousef is still being held incommunicado.
