Under-Secretary Yasir Khidir stated at the Ministry&rsquo;s weekly press conference in Khartoum on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>In response, Feisal El Bagir, coordinator of Journalists for Human Rights (JHR), told Radio Dabanga that &ldquo;The statements of the under-secretary emphasise the extensive control of the security apparatus over almost all institutions and people in the country, and its freedom to impose its views at everyone.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;By using censorship and confiscation of print-runs as a weapon to gag the journalists in the country, the government exposes its fear of the press and media,&rdquo;
