The special court in the East Darfur capital issued the death sentence against four of the accused for killing two ambulance personnel. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The court in Ed Daein, headed by Judge Habib El Rahman, ordered the hanging to death as retribution  against the four accused, along with the confiscation of their weapons and military uniforms. The fifth person was acquitted.<\/p>\n

The case details date back to the assault an ambulance<\/a> on El Fardous road in Ed Daein, which resulted in the death of the ambulance driver and his companion in December 2016.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile in Ed Daein, locality police began an investigation into the incidents in El Nair in Abu Karinka. The clash between farmers and herdsmen on 19 and 20 February caused the death of five people<\/a> and the wounding of 13 others.<\/p>\n

The police has arrested a number of suspects and seized an amount of weapons used in the incident. The remaining suspects are still at large.<\/p>\n
