Abdeldin Juma reported the incident to Radio Dabanga as one of the members of the fundraising committee for those affected by the fire.<\/p>\n<p>They presumed that an electric shock caused the flames and estimate the losses to be about SDG1.4 million Sudanese pounds ($208.660).<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile in the market of Abuja, a camp for displaced people in Gireida, a fire broke out and destroyed a number of shops on Monday afternoon. The intensity of the wind and the lack of a fire fighter in the area caused the flames to spread, doubling the losses of the market.
