since October 2018, and called on the World Food Programme (WFP) to provide food for them.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El Shafee Abdallah, Coordinator of the Central Darfur camps, told Radio Dabanga that only 3,500 camp residents out of a total of more than 50,000 have received food rations once since October.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that WFP justified the delay by shifting from direct food to cheques with which people could buy food themselves.<\/p>\n<p>He asked the WFP to deliver food to the displaced people who have no sources of income.<\/p>\n<div class=\"sws_supernormalaction\"><button
