Thousands of supporters of the Sudan Liberation Movement under the leadership of Abdelwahid El Nur (SLM-AW) took part in demonstrations demanding the handover of Al Bashir and other indicted war criminals to the International Criminal Court (ICC). <\/strong><\/p>\n

They chanted slogans demanding the transfer of the alleged perpetrators of war crimes to The Hague court. They also demanded the government end the impunity in Darfur.<\/p>\n

In Khartoum, protestors submitted a memorandum to the Council of Ministers, the Attorney General, and the Ministry of Justice demanding the transfer of those involved in human rights violations and crimes against humanity to the ICC.<\/p>\n

Residents of Nyala and displaced people living in the nearby camps organised a huge rally to demand the extradition of ousted President Omar Al Bashir and the other alleged criminals to the ICC.<\/p>\n

The protestors submitted a memorandum to Unamid and copies to be handed to the United Nations, and the Sudanese government.<\/p>\n

Sheikh Ishag Abdallah, head of the Kalma camp for displaced people told Radio Dabanga that they also condemned the attacks against displaced people in El Geneina. “We demand impartial investigations and those responsible must be brought to justice”.<\/p>\n

In Zalingei, capital of Central Darfur, hundreds of people protested in front of the state government's General Secretariat. The coordinator of the Central Darfur camps, El Shafee Abdallah, told Radio Dabanga that the demonstrators submitted a memorandum to the acting governor demanding the handing over of the accused war criminals to the ICC.<\/p>\n

Their memorandum also included that the government must swiftly investigate the crimes committed in El Geneina. They also demand the government take serious measures in achieving the objectives of the revolution and collect unauthorised weapons that proliferate in Darfur.<\/p>\n

Hundreds of activists, students, and internally displaced people in the North Darfur capital of El Fasher organised a demonstration demanding alleged war criminal to be extradited to The Hague.The demonstrators held banners denouncing crimes against humanity and genocide committed in Darfur.<\/p>\n
