The UN Country Team (UNCT) and UNAMID attended the session. The meeting was co-chaired by UNAMID Acting Joint Special Representative Aichatou Mindaoudou and UN Resident Coordinator\/Humanitarian Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative in Sudan Ali Al-Za\u2019tari. It was stated on the press release that the focus of the meeting was \u201cstrengthening partnerships to better protect civilians\u201d. In addition, it was \u201cagreed that a joint committee would incorporate inputs proposed by the humanitarian community.\u201d Both parties also agreed to continue supporting the Doha Document, the Darfur Regional Authority and the Darfur Joint Assessment Mission.
