He demanded from the South Darfur State government to restore the rule of law, and put an end to the robberies by militiamen. \u201cThey continuously attack factories and offices in the northern part of Nyala, in broad daylight.\u201d On 5 June, Radio Dabanga quoted a South Darfur State minister who described the security situation in Nyala as \u201cvery bad\u201d, and \u201cbeyond control of the central and state governments\u201d.
