This causes long queues to consult the doctor. One IDP appealed to the authorities to increase the number of health centers in the camp. In a separate report, the price of a barrel of drinking water in Nyala rose from 7 pounds to 14 pounds due to the water well drying up. Mahmoud Fadl Ali Nasr, a state water engineer, told Radio Dabanga that the water wells are drying up so the water reservoir is diminishing. There is too much demand in Nyala because of the 3.500 families who fled from areas affected by conflict.
