According to testimonies, the armed groups were driving seven vehicles and were coming from Kutum. Upon their arrival in Umm Laota on Tuesday morning, they began shooting indiscriminately towards the villages, located about four kilometers north of Tabet, sources recounted. Witnesses told Radio Dabanga the militias were \u2018terrorizing and looting\u2019 the communities, provoking \u2018terror and fear\u2019 among local residents. They added that besides killing Hawah Yahia, the armed groups also killed hoses and donkeys. Local sources explained that as a result of the attacks, they are prevented from going to their farms, to water wells and to fetch firewood.
