Citizens said that fees vary from two to 100 Sudanese pounds (SDG). They explained that the displaced must pay 2 SDG, horse-cart owners 10 SDG, restaurant owners 25 SDG and traders 100 SDG each time they use the road. Local citizens refuse to pay these fees, calling them 'unfair'.
