Speaking to Radio Dabanga, the coordinator of the Sirba camps reported that two militia members wearing military uniforms and riding a motorcycle intercepted El Sadig Bakheet in Um El Ghura, near Kendebe camp on Tuesday evening. “They claimed that the farmlands in the area belonged to them, as they had liberated them,” he said. “They then shot him and robbed him of his belongings.” Bakheet sustained bullet wounds in his shoulder and hand, and was taken to El Geneina Hospital for treatment.
